Small Group Personal Training

Take advantage of a full timetable of small group personal training sessions where numbers are limited to a maximum of 10 per trainer, so you can have the attention and motivation you need from the trainers.

A great variety of indoor and outdoor sessions with a sociable group of participants all aiming at encouraging each other to successful healthy exercise in a fun environment.

More than 40 conveniently timed sessions in two non-intimidating, small, modern studios - Including, colour coded for your convenience Cardio Boxing and Cycling , Strength & Cardio , Pilates Core Strength & Fexibility/Recovery, as well as Boot Camp and Outdoor Sessions, in Canberra's prettiest locations. More continuing Pilates Matwork sessions from beginners to level 6 can be seen on the Pilates specific timetable.

Small Group Training has numbers limited per trainer, usually a maximum of 10, depending on the type of activity.

The resistance training for example is functional training which enhances strength for improving life and/or sporting performances. This training enhances the body's natural synergistic movement patterns.

Trainers are usually the same for each session, week to week, so that the trainer knows your history and capabilities. We have great consistency with instructors as they are a very important focus of the Fun & Fitness service.

Small Group Training

Emphasis is placed on achieving results in a fun, relaxed and non-intimidating environment. Functional resistance/strength training is achieved in a variety of ways including the use of fitballs, bands, free weights, machine weights, body resistance, medicine balls and partner work.


Core Strength and Posture

During small group & personal training sessions each client's posture and core strength is constantly being assessed by the trainer. This includes abdominal strength and lower back flexibility testing. The clients program is developed during the semi- private sessions to specifically suit each individual's lifestyle. Emphasis will be placed on functional strengthening and flexibility to enhance each person's situation.

Clients will be taught how to improve their strength in everyday activities, as well as be provided with a variety of interesting and fun exercises. These exercises will incorporate a smooth progression of intensity that will help to ensure interest and challenge for long term continuity.
