Real Bikes Very Competitive Great Fun
The Computrainer Multi-Rider Indoor Cycle Racing System delivers
competitive, fun, indoor cycle racing (and training) for all
levels of cyclist on real road bikes in the Fun & Fitness
purpose built cycle studio in Manuka.
This eight-rider system is the first of its kind in Australia
and allows cyclists to compete and train in teams or as individuals.
Software automated load variables mimic the resistance of
real racing gradients on the Tour De France and other international
cycling courses. This delivers a virtual reality experience
that will satisfy any cyclists from the most serious to the
least fit.
The Multi-Rider system provides accurate measures of individual
and team performance within a standardised environment. The
Computrainer multi-rider system displays (on a big screen)
key factors in all participating riders ability, such as
heart rate, average heart rate, watts, average watts, speed,
gradient and importantly where each rider is placed in relation
to other riders and how close they are to the rider in front
of them.

 The
high tech computrainer software can even incorporate weight/load
handicaps for individuals within the group. This feature allows
any cyclist to engage in racing and training with cyclists
of a much broader range of fitness and skills. The right individual
handicap loads will result in exciting racing, with gear changes
coming thick and fast as gradients change for individuals
depending on where they are on the course.
Often only hundredths of seconds separate competitors. Out
on the road these same riders would be kilometres apart. This
can produce photo finishes that sap the last drops of energy
from all competitors, no matter how good they are (or think
they are).
Add in the considerable exercise science such as the drafting
and the team racing features, which are also incorporated
into the software and you have a complete fun, competitive
environment. The Computrainer Multi-rider system is a unique
and effective training tool for any group of keen cyclists
or complete novices.

Group Time Trial Races
2 to 8 riders can race against each other on an infinite variety
of real bike courses.
Drafting mode can be turned on or off.
 Team
Racing
This is "Where the Road Meets the Lab". Team Racing
simulates the authentic, dynamic feeling of riding in a pack
and adds a new tactical element. Supports two - 4 - rider
teams racing head-to-head. The winning team can be selected
using fastest average time, fastest 2nd rider, fastest 3rd
rider or fastest 4th rider. A 'pie chart clock' shows the
leading team's instantaneous time advantage.
MultiRider Group
Coaching
Group Training and Coaching allows for non-competitive group
training in which each rider performs at their own level.
The coach enters an athlete's threshold value and then creates
a special "time-versus-percent threshold" test for
all athletes to follow. So each rider can be doing the same
test, but all at differing workloads!
